Making winning College Football Bowl picks, it is best to find betting trends that have been consistently successful over the years
As a professional sports handicapper, when betting and making winning College Football Bowl picks, it is my job to find betting trends that have been consistently successful over the years in providing winning college football picks and other additional betting tips in order to give my clients the best and most profitable College Football Bowl picks this and every year.
When preparing to make these betting picks each year for the College Bowl season, I know I must handicap this part of the season quite differently than the regular NCAAF season. Of course, I will always want to look for NCAAF trends that provide a guide when betting the College Bowl games.
One favorite betting angle that has worked every year when handicapping
for college bowl games for many of the teams, especially those with most of their offense wrapped around a strong quarterback and passing the ball is finding the best quarterback in each College Bowl match-up.
Typically, these NCAAF teams are playing college football teams from different conferences and they do not have enough time to fully prepare for a dynamic quarterback they have never faced before. So the very first place I look when picking college bowl picks is at the all important quarterback position.
This premier quarterback selection will certainly be a major factor in College Bowl games, because a good quarterback will normally dominate the game.
Generally his opposing team does not have enough time during practices, thorough enough scouting reports or even enough media exposure to their opponents to identify and work on the weaknesses the opposing quarterback may have. Further, college football quarterbacks are always given the green light to unleash their full talent during the bowl games because it is the last game of the season and is being played on National TV. This single game often offers the very best chance for these players to make a name for themselves and be seen as future NFL draft picks.
Early in this 2009-10 College Football Bowl season, we have already seen this particular betting angle come to pass, as the best quarterback in every game so far has covered the spread. There are many games to handicap throughout a College Bowl season and there are exceptions to this betting angle, as there are for most of the tricks of this trade but I know in most of the games I must find match-ups that allow a dynamic quarterback, preferably one who can both run and pass, to show off his talent, which will give you the betting advantage you want with your College Bowl Picks throughout the college bowl season.
These kinds of formula picks or angles are another reason we always say: Hey, if you are going to bet – you might as well win!
Have a happy and prosperous Holiday Season from the entire staff at JR Tips!
